She owned a national antique and art appraisal business for many years, left that industry, and opened two yoga centers where she taught and certified yoga instructors. She's also the author of the award-winning suspenseful Coyote Series, Midlife Journey Series, Slade Kelly Suspense Series, and the Cozy Cookbook Series which consists of recipes from her cozy mystery series. Enjoy!

Kelly pulled into the harbor parking lot next to the pier and noticed that Amber’s car wasn’t in its usual place and there was no sign of her. She was usually standing at the door of Kelly’s Koffee Shop, waiting for Kelly to open up. Wonder what that’s all about, she thought.

The local residents of Cedar Bay come to Kelly’s Koffee Shop for breakfast, lunch, and lots of gossip. Kelly serves it all up as she works to solve the murder of the high school Homecoming Queen. The townspeople can’t believe what has happened in their sleepy little Oregon seaside town. She identifies five prime suspects, but which one did it?

REVIEW: The story opens with the trial of John Abrams for burglary. Now, Abrams is about to be released from prison and he wants revenge against Sheriff Mike Reynolds of Cedar Bay for putting him behind bars for six years. His cellmate, a drug dealer, has a scheme that will earn them money plus take care of the sheriff. They'll use dogs to transport the product and the exchanges will take place at dog parks. They intend to target middle school students.

This is another captivating read in the Cedar Bay Cozy Mystery series. The author has expertly blended the heartache of drug abuse, mystery, a happy wedding, and protective dogs into a tale with engaging recurring series characters and vicious villains. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well-written, cozy mystery.

Was it the environmental activist enamored with spotted owls, someone from the local Native American tribe, Jeff’s son, Jeff’s wife, or his wife’s lover? Join Kelly, the owner of Kelly’s Koffee Shop, her boxer dog, Rebel, and her fiancĂ©, Mike, the county sheriff, as they try and catch the person who killed Jeff Black.

Well, it’s not as if no one wanted Jeff dead. He had enemies. There were a lot of people who didn’t want to see his property turned into a commercial hotel and spa. Finding suspects won’t be hard to do, but finding out who killed him will be. No one would ever nominate Jeff for the “Most Popular Citizen Award.” This is going to be a nightmare for Mike. I wonder how I can help him, Kelly thought.

Murder at Jade Cove is another mouth-watering Cedar Bay Cozy Mystery with recipes and a surprise at the very end!

REVIEW: The quaint setting along the beach is where I would love to read these books. The author creates the atmosphere of the fictional town so well that I was ready to get in my car and head up the coast in search of some of that killer chocolate cake. She's really got a nice way of telling a story. Rebel is back for this book and many other quirky characters. Anyone who likes cozy mysteries or a great story will enjoy this. Incidentally in addition to the recipes there's a very interesting surprise included. Love this one, too! Highly recommended. Five stars."

Third book in the popular and best selling Cedar Bay Cozy Mystery Series.

What could possibly go wrong at a beautiful Oregon vineyard overlooking the ocean? Could the White Cloud Retreat Center on the vineyard, run by a world famous Buddhist Zen Master hold a deep, dark secret? Murder, for one thing, but who could possibly have a motive for killing the beloved Zen Master?

Solving the mystery is the job of Sheriff Mike, ably assisted by his soon-to-be-wife, Kelly, an amateur sleuth, and their two dogs, Rebel and Lady. The vineyard is famous for its White Cloud Pinot Noir wines and the coffee shop that Kelly owns, Kelly’s Koffee Shop, is equally popular with customers looking for good food.

This is the third book in the popular Cedar Bay Cozy Mystery series. Plenty of good food and lovable dogs! If you liked Kelly’s Koffee Shop and Murder at Jade Cove, you’re going to love White Cloud Retreat.

REVIEW: There is something about this particular book of the Cedar Bay Cozy Mystery series - of the four books I've read so far - that stands out to me. Is it because I also liked the beloved Buddhist Zen Master and wanted to know who was responsible for his murder? Is it because of the way the author handled the subject of Buddhism without preaching to her readers? Is it because the characters seemed to have been developed even more than in the initial books of the series? I'm not exactly sure what it is about this book that stands out to me but, in its entirety, I would have to classify this book as being one of the best I've read."

Cooking is nourishing. Murder isn’t. Kelly and her husband, Sheriff Mike, take a belated honeymoon and travel to a cooking school at the Castello di Nardo in Tuscany. The day after they arrive, they learn that Signora Nardo, the owner of the cooking school, has been murdered.

The Signora had her share of people who would like to see the first lady of the castle dead, including her brother, Salvadore, her lover, Giovanni, her lover’s wife, Angelica, the Signora’s husband, a rival cooking school owner, and her sister-in-law, who happens to be the resident chef at the cooking school. Identifying suspects isn’t the problem – finding out which of the suspects killed the Signora is.

Follow Kelly, Mike, and her new four-legged furry friend, Caesar, while they help the local chief of police try to solve the murder. There’s plenty of mouth-watering food, recipes, and a very big guard dog.

REVIEW: Kelly and her husband, Sheriff Mike, take a belated honeymoon in Tuscany. The plan is Kelly will take some cooking classes and while Mike is agreeable he would rather just relax and read a book.

Of course cooking will be delayed when the owner of the cooking school is found murdered, Signora Nardo. Of course there are many who would like to see her dead, Sheriff Mike teams up with the local police to find evidence of who might have killed her. Was it her husband, lover, lover’s wife or a rival cooking school owner?

I loved the way Kelly attached herself to Signora Nardo’s dog Caesar and the immediate protection Caesar offers to Kelly. I love the recipes at the end of the book.

Dianne gave good insight to dog showing world and how people feel about their pets. the storyline has several twists and character insights and will keep you guessing until the end. The last thing Mike Reynolds needed in the final weeks leading up to his run for re-election as sheriff of Beaver County, Oregon, was to have his wife, Kelly, discover the body of a famous movie actress. It didn't help that she'd died under mysterious circumstances from a fall off the cliff behind her home.

Did she accidentally fall over it or was it murder? And if she was murdered, who did it? Was it her daughter who wanted her mother's money, so she could give it to the yoga guru she was studying with at his spartan retreat center located in the nearby forest? Or was it her gardener, who desperately needed money to deal with the terminal diagnosis his wife had been given by her doctor? Or could it have been the director of The Triangle, the movie she was about to film, because he was afraid she'd ruin his chances for an Oscar? What about the supporting actress who'd wanted to have the lead role in the movie? Or the screenwriter, who didn't understand why the movie star refused to read the changes he made to the script? Or even the star's ex-husband, furious with what she'd told a reporter about his acting ability?

Join Kelly, Mike, their dogs, and a helpful neighbor by the name of Roger Babowal, as they try to find out what really happened on the cliff that night.

REVIEW: Ms. Harman certainly knows how to write a mystery that draws you in. It amazes me that she can produce as many books as fast as she does, and keep her stories of such wonderful quality, but she does, and each new book is as good as, if not better than the one before. There are only a few author I know of who can do that.

I really enjoyed the way author Dianne Harman told MURDER & THE MOVIE STAR. She went back and forth to before the murder, and after. With each trip to before the murder another suspect, or motive would appear making it very hard to guess who the killer was. Harman really kept me on my toes all the way through.
