Author Description:
Welcome to my world-

I have always had an interest in the strange and unusual and I'm a romantic by heart. So how did I come into writing, you ask? Well, I stumbled into it. Yeah, that's pretty much what happened. I never pictured myself as a writer but sometime in 2011, craving some kind of excitement and adventure in my life; I jotted down a few notes for a book idea and never looked back. Funny part is, the notes I wrote never became a book, instead I took on subjects as wolf-shifters and angels and created their worlds and I have loved every minute of it.

I write passion-filled paranormal romance- weaving tales of alpha males willing to do anything for the one feisty, curvaceous, strong-willed woman who has won their heart. They will go to any length to please their mate, in and out of the bed.

I invite you, lovely readers, to enter my world, relax in an easy-chair, sip a soothing beverage, stay and be entertained.

I write for you. I also love the saying that is behind me and always try to inspire others whenever I can

SPOTLIGHT Questions and Answers with the Author

Congratulations on your book: Aeron. Rumor has it that you have another book on the horizon called Orion. Can you tell us the timeline for its release and give us a little tease?

Yes, Orion, Book 5 is expected to release in January 2019 and I am so excited for his release. His book will complete the Guardian League series. Orion is as unique as the other books in the series. His tale; however, has two Guardian Angels fighting for the love of one human being.

Here’s a teaser for Orion’s book to wet your appetite:

Zoe never imagined one angel in love with her, but two? How did a girl get so lucky?

After dating both incredible males, she must let one go for one will not share her. But which one can she live without? The decision is impossible when two, hot sexy men feed her fire and warm her long, cold nights.

Should she choose: Mercury, the rebel whose wild ways need taming?

Or Orion? The irresistible angel who draws her in with passionate kisses?

Time is passing and she can’t decide. What in the world is a girl to do with two beautiful angels vying for her affection, ready to pledge their love and future, to her?

I plan to do a cover reveal on my Facebook Fan page sometime in November and my publisher will be hosting a Facebook Release party for me as Orion’s release date draws closer. Both of these parties will be open to all who want to attend.

Do you do any book signings, interviews, speaking and personal appearances? If so, when and where is the next place where your readers can see you? Where can they keep up with your personal contacts online?

I just finished the Readers, Writers and Models event in Tampa, which was so much fun! My next book fair is at Book Obsessed Babes in St. Augustine, FL on March 9, 2019. I hear this is a great event and I’m really excited for my first year attending this one! I love meeting new and old fans and I always have lots of goodies set aside for those who buy my books. If you buy several paperbacks, I always offer a discount. Come on over and see me and sign up for my Giveaway too. I love to include great, fun stuff in my giveaways.

I am always posting on my Facebook Fan Page and when an interview posts or I have a speaking engagement come up, I will list it on my Fan Page. I will also post appearances on my blogsite but my Fan page is truly the best place to keep up with me and my appearances.

You have great covers. They carry a theme and your brand with them. How does your book cover creation process work? Do you hand over the basic theme or do you have more of a hands-on approach? Do you get your readers involved in its development

Thank you for the compliment. Angels and Diamonds was the one book I self-published and another author helped me through the process. She gathered together the basic images I wanted for this cover. After a few tries and amendments to the cover incorporating what I wanted, I approved the final book cover.

For my Guardian League Series and Nightfall, my publisher’s artist worked with me to incorporate what I wanted, adding an ‘elevator pitch’ type of branding for me on every cover. The inside of my Guardian League series books also incorporates angel wings between passages.

When working with an artist, there has to be some flexibility involved because the cover you envision is not always the cover you will get; however, it should have the basic theme and images that you’d like to see.

You have several great book trailers. (See links below.) They look very professional. Do you know how much impact they have had on your book’s success? Tell us about the process that you used to create your trailers? Do you use the trailer in your character development? Are the pictures and background the way you see your characters and scenes?

Thank you. I love my book trailers, actually, and several of them were made by an amazing, artistic friend. What I do when I am ready to create a book trailer is start on the wording for the trailer first, then I look for images that match the lines in my trailer and lastly, I look for music that fits the mood of the book.

I have heard from several readers that they love my trailers. I’m not sure if they’ve had an impact on the success of the books but I believe in giving the readers an extra avenue for information to help them make a choice as to whether or not they are interested in reading my books. Sometimes writing a book blurb is not enough and watching scenes come alive with a plot synopsis not only engages readers but helps them decide.

You have written several short stories included in a set called Angels and Diamonds. (See Below.) Can you tell us if they had an impact on the sales of your novels? Are shorty’s one of your styles of writing or are they created to give readers a sample of your work?

Angels and Diamonds came about as the result of a short I had written with Archangel Michael as the main character. I loved the story so much but needed a home for it so I wrote six more and incorporated all of them into a book. I normally don’t write short stories but I published Angels and Diamonds for those readers who wanted a taste of my work before they bought an actual book from me. As Angels and Diamonds has seven individual stories, each featuring an angel and a diamond in some form, there is a little bit for everyone to experience and enjoy, no matter what their taste may be. It also introduces the reader to my writing style and gives readers an option into a different, fun style of book. I plan to work on one more book of shorts in the near future with different types of shape shifters.

Tell us about your Street Team~ the Kick-Ass Kittens Entourage (KAKE). Tell us about the team and what your goals are? How can readers join?

I have recently archived this group as I don’t have much spare time anymore. The KAKE team was a fun group and I loved interacting with the members. I still remain in contact with several of them and have made friends with quite a few.

If readers are interested in contacting and keeping up with me, I invite them to follow my Facebook Fan Page, as I am almost always posting there. I host giveaways, cover reveals, release parties, and I regularly attend book fairs throughout the year and all announcements are primarily made on my Fan Page.

I absolutely adore my fans and I love interacting with them.

What is your primary genre? What has been your best marketing approach to this group?

My primary genre is Adult Paranormal Romance but I also write fantasy and contemporary romance. I find that there is a large population of readers that love paranormal romance so it’s not hard to find my readers. It is a bit difficult, though, to find PNR readers who love Adult angel stories. However, these fans are out there and when I encounter them, it is absolutely wonderful! I am hoping to reach more readers who love steamy angel romances.

What I do now for marketing to the PNR population is post on Facebook and attend book fairs. I find that if readers like your work, they will tell others. That is not only incredible and wonderful, in itself, but is a form of marketing that many authors may not be aware of.

Do you maintain a reader list? What are the methods you use to find your readers and create the list and the relationship? Do you use social media, forums, newsletters and/or support groups to build your list?

Yes, I have a monthly newsletter and I build my list, primarily, from readers who sign up for my giveaways on blogs or on my Fan Page and at book fairs. Readers can also sign up to receive my newsletter, without entering a giveaway, at: http://eepurl.com/c30c4H

You have a great blog. You do a great job keeping readers informed, marketing your books and helping other writers gain exposure. What is your primary goal? And where in the world do you find the time to create great novels, take care of the social media and maintain your blog?

Thank you. It is hard trying to keep up with everything, especially since I am primarily a one woman show most of the time. I do have some friends who help promote me but this is not on a regular basis and it takes a lot of time doing what I do with working a full-time job, maintaining my own family and taking care of my ailing dad’s needs. Some days, I go home and just rest because I need to re-energize myself so that I can continue doing what I love which is writing and marketing/promoting not only for myself but for other authors. I love to help whenever I can.

My primary goal is interaction with my current readers as well as gaining new fans and readers along the way. When I say I truly love my fans and readers, I really do mean it. I put a lot of my heart and soul into my book business so when a reader comes up to me and says they read my work and they loved it, it is the best feeling in the world and that reader does not leave without getting at least a hug from me along with words of thanks and appreciation.

In the last couple of years, I added book fairs to my schedule which I absolutely love attending but it has created added stress and taken up several of my weekends. So in the past few months, I felt the accumulation of all that I do and I became overwhelmed enough that I took my husband’s advice and set a weekly schedule for myself so I can do everything I want to do.

There were several things that were being neglected as a result of my scattered attention and dis-organization. I watched as several author friends entered book contests and won while my books were being neglected. I wanted to enter contests too but never had the time, energy or remembered when I had the time and energy. Now I am making the time to do this as well as several other staple items I had on the backburner for “someday”.

What is your method of getting reviews for your novels? Do you seek professional reviews, use social media or do you rely on your reading audience to supply them?

I get reviews any way I can, actually. It is really hard getting reviews for a book and I am constantly in search for professional reviewers and bloggers who are willing to read/leave a review. I also request reviews from fans and readers, if they have the time to leave one for me. Reviews are crucial and essential for any author and they can help determine if another reader wants to take a chance and read your book, too.
