Up next is my story that will be featured in another boxed set releasing in 2019. I'm not sure how much I can divulge, but I can say it has something to do with the Zodiac signs.
I love social media! I've met some terrific people online over the last few years and they have all helped me in one way or another. Whether it be through writing or through my marketing or web building, I've gained almost all my followers organically. I've used some giveaways for followers but the majority are "free followers".
Selling on social media can be tough. Especially if you aren't vigilant about it. When I say vigilant, I mean every single day to multiple platforms.
Book cover: I do all of my book covers. That is part of my lively hood, both representing my books as well as my clients. Anytime I make a cover for a client, I have them propose it to their fans. Then we work through what we like and or don't like. Honestly, most times I try to get to know what the book is about and develop the cover as I see it. The cover has to tell a story too.
You have written a short story called Sapphire & Me with your daughter. This project was a lot of fun. I involved all the kiddos as well as their cousins. I had them do the art work for it. My daughter Alex is Ten years old now, and she has already written 5 more books. They are all in the rough draft stage but we will get them edited and out to the public as soon as we can.
Primary genre: My primary genre is horror, fantasy, romance.??? I write a little bit of everything into my stories.
Love Under Fire with twenty other authors: Working with the Love Under Fire authors has been a wonderful experience. I first joined up just for that, experience. But now that I have a taste for the "letters", I'll have more of them please.

Next: I’m really excited about my next book, Deception Bay. It’s a bit of a departure from the dark suspense Patchell fans are used to reading—I’ve delved into the genre of Romantic Mystery. I suspect readers will enjoy this new direction as much if not more than what they’ve read previously.
Appearances: Most of my appearance of late have been in the form of online Facebook Events with my fellow boxed set authors, where we’ve been talking about our Love Under Fire books.
Audiobooks saved my sanity on my daily grinding commute through Seattle traffic, and when the audio rights for my books were acquired by Audible, I was thrilled! My goal was to attract a new audience of readers, and I have managed to reach new fans through Audible, but so far the audiobooks have not had a huge impact on my book sales.
Primary genre: People are the most interesting puzzles to solve. My fascination with the darker side of human nature has inspired me to primarily write suspense. I love crafting complex stories lines with realistic and flawed characters that keep people up late at night because they just can’t sleep until they know what happens next.
Free books: I gave away a lot of copies of my first book, DEADLY LIES. For me, the goal has really been to build a readership, and exposing your work to a broad audience is one great way to do this. My first BookBub free promotion was hands-down the most successful. In two days there were sixty-eight thousand downloads of DEADLY LIES. It was amazing, and the side-benefit was that sales of my second book, IN THE DARK, skyrocketed.
My reader list is my newsletter. This is a combination of folks who found me organically through a link in the back of my books, or my website and those I have found through various Newsletter building services, where fans of a particular genre sign up for your newsletter as part of a multi-author giveaway
Love Under Fire with twenty other authors: At first, I wasn’t sure about it. I mean, I knew there was an accomplished group of authors participating, but Romantic Suspense is new for me, and given my other deadlines and commitments, I wanted to make sure that I had a story worth telling.

Great covers: I love my covers and developed the theme/brand over time. I work with Cover Designer Michele Hauf who is a saint and a genius. We work very closely on the design. I often find the photos of the people and backgrounds. And it's funny you should ask about reader in put--when I'm prevaricating on more than one version of a cover, I will often ask the members of my Stephanie Queen Team for their input.
Great book trailer for the Beachcomber Investigations Series I'm not sure about the impact on success, but I enjoy book trailers and have a Youtube channel which I've been working on populating because it's one of the more enjoyable social media places for me. Beachcombers Book Trailer
I love audiobooks. As a big consumer of them, I recognize their value and wanted to get as many of my books into audio as possible. I'm still working on getting my Beachcomber Investigations series into audio and will be releasing Let It Snow in audio for this Christmas season. It's a fun, but time-consuming process. I'm not sure about a cross-over audience, but I know there is a ravenous audio audience since I'm one of them!
My primary genre is romantic suspense with contemporary romance a close second. The line often gets blurred here I've noticed and there's lots of cross over.
My reader list, or newsletter list has been built in a variety of ways. Some purely organic, some people I meet at in-person events, some through rafflecopter contests and giveaways. I haven't found social media to be a great way to build lists, but advertising does.
Love Under Fire with twenty other authors: Author bundles or box sets are terrific fun for me. It's a chance to work fairly closely with a group of authors over a few months and really get to know them. So even if these sets didn't help with cross promoting readers among the authors--which they do--I would still be involved with them.

Great covers: I love my covers, and I owe them to the imagination of my book cover artist, Melody Simmons. She is always up on her research and has worked with me to create a cohesive brand as well as to make each series stand out as unique.
Author bundles: I have very much enjoyed being involved in bundles; though, it is a lot of work. The main reason I do it is to meet other authors, to talk shop with my colleagues, to have a common goal, to be part of something interesting. I have developed some lovely friendships this way. It’s also an opportunity for me to offer some of my work at a discounted price to my readers and for new readers to try out my style of writing to see if it’s something they enjoy.
My primary genre is suspense (often with a psychic twist). I developed the Iniquus World (Washington DC, modern-day, military subcontractor industry) in which I have five series; The Lynx Series, Uncommon Enemies, Strike Force, The Kate Hamilton Mysteries, and, with Love Under Fire, I launch the fifth an FBI series that starts with Cold Red.

Great covers: I worked with one designer for The Fine Art of Deception Series and a different one for The Haunting of Alcott Manor Series. When I’m working on a book cover with a designer, I study movie posters in that genre, particularly older ones. Maybe because my mind is more visual than most, but I love the way good movie posters make you feel their story.
Bundling a series of novels: I wanted to make it easy for readers to grab the series so I bundled the first 3 together. I also discounted the box set as a thank you for picking up all three books at once. I think that might have helped things pick up initially.
Primary genre: I love a good suspense story, one that takes me a while to figure out, one with characters I can invest in. So, that’s exactly what I write.
Giveaways: I often give books away for free, especially the first book in The Fine Art of Deception Series. Since I’m still relatively unknown to a lot of readers, my goal in giving books away is to remove any barriers that might prevent them from at least trying some of my work.
My primary goal with my blog is to communicate with readers. It’s an easy way to let them know about what’s going on in my book world. My secondary goal is to make it easier for people who are searching for books like mine, to find me.

Starting over 15 years ago, he helped lead the startup of the electronic forms industry in the creation, conversion and usage of electronic forms by supplying that industry with a continuing source of published literature, software products and training seminars.
In 2003, Moushon changed his focus to ebooks and their development.
He is the author of the Jonathon Stone Mystery Novels. He has published three books: Black Mountain Secrets, Game of Fire and The Cajun Ghost plus several short stories including Operation No Sanctuary (June 2017), Operation Camp Navajo (July 2017), and Operation Asian Tiger (August 2017). All featuring CIA Agent Jonathon Stone.
A Jonathon Stone Mystery Short Story Winter 2017 is being released currently: Operation Sundown (November 2017), Operation Little Havana (December 2017), and Operation Listen Close (January 2018). All featuring CIA Agent Jonathon Stone.

Uvi Poznansky is a bestselling, award-winning author, poet and artist. “I paint with my pen,” she says, “and write with my paintbrush.” Her romance boxed set, A Touch of Passion, is the 2016 WINNER of The Romance Reviews Readers' Choice Awards.
Education and work:
Uvi earned her B. A. in Architecture and Town Planning from the Technion in Haifa, Israel and practiced with an innovative Architectural firm, taking a major part in the large-scale project, called Home for the Soldier.
Having moved to Troy, N.Y. with her husband and two children, Uvi received a Fellowship grant and a Teaching Assistantship from the Architecture department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. There, she guided teams in a variety of design projects and earned her M.A. in Architecture. Then, taking a sharp turn in her education, she earned her M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
She worked first as an architect, and later as a software engineer, software team leader, software manager and a software consultant (with an emphasis on user interface for medical instruments devices.) All the while, she wrote and painted constantly, and exhibited in Israel and California. In addition, she taught art appreciation classes. Her versatile body of work includes bronze and ceramic sculptures, oil and watercolor paintings, charcoal, pen and pencil drawings, and mixed media.
Books and Genres:
Her two series won great acclaim. Still Life with Memories is a family saga series with touches of romance. It includes Apart From Love, My Own Voice, The White Piano, The Music of Us, and Dancing with Air. The David Chronicles is a historical fiction series. It includes Rise to Power, A Peek at Bathsheba, and The Edge of Revolt.
Her poetry book, Home, is in tribute to her father. Her collection of dark tales, Twisted, and her Historical Fiction book, A Favorite Son, are both new age, biblically inspired books. In addition, Uvi wrote and illustrated two children books, Jess and Wiggle and Now I Am Paper. For each one of these books, she created an animation video (find them on YouTube and on her Goodreads page.)

Linda Watkins is the author of the multi-award-winning MATEGUAS ISLAND SERIES. She currently resides in Sedona, Arizona and, in another life, was a Senior Clinical Financial Analyst at Stanford University School of Medicine. In 2006, she packed her belongings and, along with her four rescue dogs, took the plunge and moved to a remote island off the coast of Maine. It was there that she wrote MATEGUAS ISLAND, which has garnered the following awards:
* 2014 Gold Medal, Supernatural Fiction, Readers Favorite International Book Award Competition
* 2014 First Place Award, Contemporary Gothic, Chanticleer Book Review, Paranormal Awards
* 2015 Outstanding Novel in Horror/Suspense, IAN Book of the Year Awards
The second novel in the series, RETURN TO MATEGUAS ISLAND, was also awarded a First Place in Contemporary Gothic Fiction in the 2015 Chanticleer Book Review's Paranormal Awards and was named 2015 Finalist in Horror by Readers Favorite International Book Award Competition, and 2016 Finalist in Horror by the IAN Book of the Year Awards.
GHOSTS OF MATEGUAS, the third novel in the series, was published in early 2016 and, in 2017, was named "Finalist in Thrillers" in the Book Excellence Awards and "Finalist in Horror/Suspense" in the IAN Book of the Year Awards.

Serious about dog welfare and rescue, all net proceeds from sales of THE MATEGUAS ISLAND SERIES are donated to Linda's charitable trust, The Raison d'Etre Fund for Dogs, Dedicated to Rescue and Research.
