"As entertaining as the first book in the series. I couldn't stop reading! Very well written, compelling, and with complex characters - some of whom sometimes slink along the line of good and evil incredibly convincingly. A good bit of romance, but romance isn't the main driver of the storyline. Neither is revenge, although you'd think so from the beginning. Rather, this is a beautifully composed story of maturation, family, strength, friendship, and letting go. Can't wait for the third instalment to see how Cassi's story is resolved."
