She's a nurse for the Veterans Administration by day and a hard working writer at night creating believable characters and books that leave you wanting more.
Her husband spent 22 years in the Army and his career took them to some exciting duty stations around the world. Sharon and Ed have settled in Florida with three of their daughters and five of their eleven grandchildren. They have four daughters, three granddaughters and seven grandsons. They are awaiting the birth of their first great-grandson in May.

Congratulations on your book: Clarity. What do you have on the drawing board next? Can you tell us the timeline for its release and give us a little tease?
Thank you! I have two new books, one that released in May as part of a set Luck of the Draw. My book is Placing Her Bet which is a book about a young woman with Agoraphobia (the fear of crowds) who forces herself to go to a race track and place a bet on a horse after having a dream about her late grandfather. She meets a man who helps her place her bet and invites her to his private box to watch the race. It is a clean, sweet romance. Luck of the Draw
The other book I am releasing in a set called Mystic Passion on August 7th is Safe With You. It is a steamy paranormal about a young man who inherits a mansion only to find it inhabited by a witch. Mystic Passion
You have a good following on twitter. How important have your social media relationships been? How did you build your following in your niche? Do you see a carry over to your writing success?
I think social media relationships are important. I am trying to build my following with advertising with other authors and tweeters. It's not easy when you work a full time job and write part time! I am still trying to build my followers find the newsletter the most difficult one to do. Yes, because every time I do advertising I find a few more readers eager to read my books.
Do you do any book signings, interviews, speaking and personal appearances? If so, when and where is the next place where your readers can see you? Where can they keep up with your personal contacts online?
Yes, I love book signings! It is a great way to meet new readers. I actually have one coming up in September and another in December. The one in September, on the 16th is in Orlando, Florida the one in December is in Mt. Dora, Florida. I will be posting the information on my Facebook page. I also have a readers group on Facebook. You have great covers. They carry a theme and your brand with them. How does your book cover creation process work? Do you hand over the basic theme or do you have more of a hands-on approach? Do you get your readers involved in its development?
Thank you James. Most of my covers have come from the collaboration with a great cover artist. We work together taking our ideas to create the covers. Yes I do love to have my readers input on many things including the photo's for the covers to names of characters.
You have written several novellas. Can you tell us if they had an impact on the sales of your novels? Are shorty’s one of your styles of writing or are they created to give readers a sample of your work? Do you feel short reads are a product of our email and smart phone age?
It's interesting that you asked this question. I actually find it harder to write novellas. My readers devour everything and usually the most avid ones ask me when I am going to write something longer. The novellas are usually written to be part of a set with other authors and is a requirement to write a shorter work. I don't know if they are or not, I have actually never thought about it.
I like the idea of Author bundles. You are a part of several romance bundles featured on HBS Author’s Spotlight. What was the impact on your other sales? What was the main objective of bundling your works with other romance authors? How did you put something like that together?

Yes, I love doing sets with other authors. I have seen an increase in sales on my other books and my single books that were in the sets. The main objective of course is to reach more readers and help them find other authors to enjoy. The authors I work with our amazing women who work well to help each other and combine our efforts to make cohesive sets where the stories work well.
What has been your experience in giving your books away free? Have you been involved in any other type of giveaways and how did that work out? What was your main goal in doing this? Did you run into any obstacles?
It is great! Readers who may not know you and might pass your book over if they have to read it will usually seek out your other books once they have read you. I think it is a great way to meet new readers. Yes, I try to do a few giveaways a month and my main goal is to build a larger reader base.
What is your primary genre? What has been your best marketing approach to this group?
Well, the one I seem to lean more towards is contemporary romance with some mystery and suspense. Doing advertising and giveaways each month.
Do you maintain a reader list? What are the methods you use to find your readers and create the list and the relationship? Do you use social media, forums, newsletters and/or support groups to build your list?
No I don't. I have readers on my Facebook page and they like to keep in touch and will pm me if they have questions. Yes to all of those for the building of my readers.
Tell us about The Diamond Club? What was the impact on your other sales? What was the main objective of forming the group with other romance authors? How did you put something like that together?
The Diamond Club was the brain child of another author to bring together a group of authors that used the Diamond Club as the central focus for the books. I saw an increase in sales and reads when we did the release. We were hoping to build a world of intrigue, suspense and mystery with the books. It was put together with a lot of hard work and advertising.
